Why Should I Read This Blog?

Our Hero

I’ve done it again. I’ve created a blog.

Is this a good idea? Probably not.

Am I going to do it anyway? Absolutely.

I realize some people may have additional questions, so I’ve created this FAQ. Here we go:

Why should I read this blog?

You definitely should not read this blog.

Really?

I mean, ok. I’d love for you to read it, but I’m not going to try and sell you on it.

Why is it called “PhD Dropout”?

Because I thought it was catchy. And, also I dropped out of a PhD program. Plenty of stories to come on that eventful chapter of my life.

How often will you post?

No idea. Probably a lot at first. As often as I can.

What’s the point of this blog?

I have stories to share and need an outlet for my thoughts. It’s also a way to process the past several years of my life while laughing at my own jokes.

What are the critics saying?

“Ben’s new blog is a bit unfocused, but I have nothing better to do with my time. So here I am.” – Bradley Cooper

“At some point, this guy is going to figure it out. Right?” – Kim Kardashian

“Make no mistake. [Potter] is an egomaniac and a narcissist. But he has a real knack for self-deprecating humor.” – Noam Chomsky

“A total waste of time if you’re looking for recipes. Would not recommend.” – Mark Twain

“He’s a good time and he means well.” – Anonymous
